Reagan Breaux knows firsthand that the path to homeownership isn't always a straight line—and that traditional systems aren't always designed with everyone in mind. Affectionately known as the Texas Doll of Real Estate, Reagan has made it her mission to break down barriers, champion financial literacy, and help people build the stability and security that can come with homeownership.

As a Dallas-Fort Worth transgender Realtor and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Reagan brings lived experience, advocacy, and real estate knowledge to every client relationship. Long before becoming a real estate agent, Reagan built a career around hard work, empathy, and serving others. Starting at just 15 years old, she spent 11 years in restaurant management, sometimes working as many as 80 hours a week. Along the way, she learned conversational Spanish and developed an ability to understand people, anticipate their needs, and connect with individuals from many different backgrounds.

Her career later took her into the technology industry. But less than a month after closing on her own first home, Reagan was hit by a major corporate layoff. Suddenly, she experienced firsthand how quickly financial circumstances can change—and how unforgiving traditional lending and banking systems can feel when life doesn't follow the expected path.

Determined to protect her new home, Reagan adapted. She drove for Uber and Lyft and rented out spare rooms, gaining hands-on experience with property management, rental income, landlord responsibilities, and the financial realities of owning a home.

Her passion for helping people navigate nontraditional financial situations also comes from a decade-long career on stage in Austin. As a former pageant titleholder who performed six nights a week, Reagan remembers the difficulty of navigating housing with income that didn't always fit neatly into traditional boxes. Without conventional documentation or a cosigner, even qualifying for an apartment could become an enormous challenge.

Those experiences now shape the way Reagan approaches real estate. As a transgender real estate agent serving Dallas-Fort Worth, she is passionate about helping first-time homebuyers better understand credit, financial preparation, documentation of nontraditional income, down-payment assistance, and other resources that may help make homeownership possible.

Reagan's commitment to the LGBTQ+ community extends well beyond real estate. Over the years, she has hosted charity benefit shows and helped transgender women experiencing housing insecurity. She also serves as a Volunteer Deputy Registrar in Tarrant, Dallas, Collin, and Rockwall counties, helping eligible Texans register to vote.

Today, Reagan has found her professional home with Texas Pride Realty Group, where her commitment to inclusion and equitable access to real estate is reflected in the team around her. She is also a voice on the Flea Red State podcast, where she uses her platform to share real estate education, resources, and information affecting her community.
